Under 13's History....so far...

The team was set up in 2007-08 and played in the Wirral Mini Soccer League as under 9s and under 10s before joining the Wallasey Junior League for 11 a side in 2009-10.
We have been lucky to keep the a core group of players since the team was set up in 2007 plus pick up new players along the way and it has been great to see the enjoyment, improvement and development of the team plus the manner in which they have approached their football with enthusiasm and a spirit of fair play.
In 2007-08 the team topped their Division and were narrow runners up in the Divisional cup final losing 1-0 playing some great football regardless of the results.
Season 2008-09 saw a further improvement with the team winning their Division again and also the Divisional cup plus losing a close fought Knockout Cup semi-final 1 – 0. The season again saw the team play some great football and be involved in 31 competitive games, scoring 133 goals and conceding 14 and losing only 3 games in all competitions, a great achievement for the players and the hard work they put in.
Season 2009-10 saw the team enter the Wallasey Junior League and start the journey of playing 11-a-side games. The players adapted well to a competitive league, large pitches and big goals to finish a creditable 7th and reached a Cup Semi Final with one of the team players achieving League Player of the Season as voted by the other teams within the under 11s division.
Season 2010-11 saw the team join AFC Bebington Athletic as under 12’s and secure sponsorship from Morecrofts Solicitors thanks to the help of one of the players’ parents. The season was a more difficult season with some great matches and results and some more difficult games. The Team finished 4th and reached another Cup Semi Final. This was been an excellent learning experience for the players who hopefully will take the lessons learned into future training and games. Yet again the team had the distinction of one its players being voted League Player of the Season. It was a season where more new faces joined the team and we lost a couple of friends and we wish them the very best where ever they play their football in the future.
Season 2011-12 and the team have joined the Eastham & District Junior League so a new chapter begins. The players have shown excellent behaviour and attitude at matches and training and have a willingness to learn and try hard.
We continue to look forward to the future enjoyment and success of the team with the continued support and help of the parents and families of the players.
